In senior living we believe quality design is paramount as it directly impacts life safety, care, and wellness. Our designs focus on the residents as well as the staff, as it supports the psychological, emotional, and physical wellness of each. Along with safety, we believe that creating spaces that engage and encourage socialization is key to a community’s success. It is commonly understood that the baby boomers are looking for interaction and cultural ties to their communities. Our charge as designers is to create a backdrop for the resident to thrive as actively and safely as possible.
We collaborate with owners, operators, architects, and consultant team to effectively space plan a community to maximize common areas with multi-use programming. This activates areas throughout the community for socializing, wellness, and learning opportunities. As residents’ needs evolve and they move onto more acute levels of care, emotionally uplifting designs provide a continuous thread of comforting aesthetics around every corner.
Healthcare spaces are warmly configured to create a smaller, homelike feel with caregiver stations discreetly designed into the common areas. Our designers also attend information sessions on the trends and requirements of senior living healthcare in order to design exceptionally supportive and appropriately scaled memory care, skilled nursing and hospice areas.
The durability and cleanability of finishes, furniture, and accessories factor into each selection so that we can maximize your investment. We work with vendors that feature furniture lines specifically designed for senior resident comfort and safety.
