Atria Cary Grand Opening
February 16th marked the grand opening of Atria Cary, an independent living community in Cary, North Carolina. Stacy Peters and Taylor Knisley attended the event spending the evening with residents, their families, Shelbourne Healthcare and Atria Senior Living. The active adult independent living community is already home to many socially engaged residents and an attentive administrative team.
“We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the residents and their families,” said Stacy. “It was such an honor to see the building come to life through this celebration.”
Atria Cary is situated on 13 acres adjacent the Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve and offers luxury independent living in a charmingly fresh atmosphere. The spaces are thoughtfully designed to be inviting and timeless with a warm, neutral color palette accentuated with shades of aqua, blue, and green.
Amenities include multiple dining venues, bistro, cocktail lounge, private dining, indoor swimming pool, library, theater, fitness center, salon, and game room. The community also includes a physical therapy center where residents can receive physical, occupational and speech therapy in addition to proactively learning prevention strategies to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
FDG provided interior space planning for the amenity spaces, creating a cohesive flow between common areas. In addition to the interior architecture and design, FDG designed a sales center and two model apartments.
