MEET MYLES: THE TECHNOPHILE!
GETTING TO KNOW MYLES
Varied tastes and interests, a wide array of talents and skills, and dedication that take him the extra “Myles,” this FDG Project Manager is a man of many successes. Graduating from Kansas State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Myles found his way to Faulkner Design Group in the summer of 2015. The FDG team recognized Myles’ incredible eye for design and his outgoing, driven personality right from the start. Over the past five years, Myles has utilized his experience to thrive as an interior designer. He has been instrumental in creating multifamily and senior living environments that transcend even the newest, most cutting-edge communities.
Myles’ love for technology has kept him updated on the latest and greatest inventions surfacing the globe. He even traveled to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the beginning of 2020 to get a head start on what fresh, new technology could be incorporated into the upcoming FDG projects to make life simpler for residents and staff alike. With Myles’ fascination with all things technology related, it’s no wonder Myles has dubbed himself “The Technophile.”
HOMETOWN
Overland Park, KS
Originally born in Morgan City, LA, Myles reluctantly admits that Overland Park is where he calls home. Listed as the second largest city in Kansas, Overland Park has a multitude of quaint, kid-friendly tourist attractions, including Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, and a variety of museums.
BEHIND HIS DESIGNS
Hours spent creating families, homes, environments with The Sims game catapulted Myles into the world of interior design, a hobby he continues to this day. Myles enjoyed taking the generic, in-game houses and redesigning the interiors to fit his desire, and even space-planned a scale drawing of his own bedroom in middle school. However, Myles didn’t fully realize his love for design and the ability to put it to work in the real world until he reached college. Given the sound advice from a friend, Myles was able to hone his interests and come to the conclusion that interior design was the way to go, more specifically, Kansas State University’s incredible interior design program. Conducting his own thorough research into the highly ranked university, Myles applied to the program that night and the rest was history.

Not only does Myles enjoy making friends quickly and easily, he’s also one of the best at it.
